This blog aims to commemorate the First World War in Wandsworth by posting about events on their centenary. 

The blog will cover all areas of the current London Borough of Wandsworth and some areas which are no longer part of the borough, including Clapham and Streatham.  Local government at the time was covered by two borough councils – Battersea and Wandsworth.
